SUMMARY:Second Saturday: Butterfly Wands
DESCRIPTION:April showers bring…butterflies!  \nFor this month’s Second Saturday Art Activity\, we’ll be creating our own colorful butterfly wands outside on the South Patio. Using coffee filters and water-based markers\, we’ll color\, spray\, and watch the pigments blend and “tie-dye” into one-of-a-kind butterfly wings. \nOnce dry\, we’ll attach our wings to pipe cleaner butterfly bodies and wooden wands\, finishing them off with flutterific ribbons that float and dance in the breeze. \nThis is a free\, come-and-go family event. This activity will take 20-40 minutes to complete. Younger children will need a grown-up’s help\, and families are encouraged to create together! As always\, complimentary donuts\, coffee\, and juice will be provided for all crafters. \nmake a donation
