March’s Second Saturday celebrates St. Patrick’s Day! This month, families will create St. Paddy’s Hats, a festive paper plate headpiece that transforms a simple plate into a wearable work of art.
March SSA Artist Margie Martin will guide families as they color their plates green, cut out fun shapes using templates or their own creative designs, and decorate their hats with colorful pom poms, markers, stickers, and more. Participants will leave with a playful, one of a kind accessory perfect for celebrating the holiday on March 17th.
This is a free, come-and-go family event. This activity will take 20 to 40 minutes to complete. Younger children will need a grown-up’s help, and families are encouraged to create together. Enjoy complimentary donuts, coffee, and juice while you craft!
