February’s Second Saturday falls on Valentine’s Day! This month, families will create a Valentine’s Puzzle Purse – a folded paper “letter” that opens layer by layer to reveal hidden messages, drawings, and designs inside.

February SSA Artist Kayla Anley will guide families with fun writing prompts and examples to help spark ideas. Participants can write sweet notes, silly messages, poems, or positive affirmations. You’ll then fold your paper and decorate it using colored pencils, markers, and pens, creating a finished craft you can gift to someone special (or keep for yourself).

This is a free, come-and-go family event. Puzzle Purses typically take 30–45 minutes to complete. Younger children will need a grown-up’s help, and families are encouraged to create together. Enjoy complimentary donuts, coffee, and juice while you craft!
