2025 Rose Festival and Chalk It Up Art Contest

- Registration: June 1st – August 31st
- Drop Off: September 3 & 4, 12-7pm
- Reception: September 11, 5:30-7:30pm
Each year, the Broken Arrow Rose Festival and “Chalk It Up!” An Art Festival team up for a community art contest held inside the Arts@302 gallery. Submissions are open to amateur and professional artists from pre-k children to adults.
The theme of the 2025 art contest is Sweet Dreams and Night Scenes.
Contest Information
- Theme: Sweet Dreams and Night Scenes
- Art on Paper: (without frame) must be matted.
- Framed Piece: Does not require matting. If matted, the mats can be any color.
- Work must be delivered ready to hang. Please have wire, sawtooths, or D-rings on the back of any framed work or canvases.
- Size: 18” x 24” Maximum for paintings and drawings. (frame dimensions not included). Work larger than this will not be accepted into the show.
- Only one entry per person.
- All art should be original work created by the artist.

Work will be judged in the following age divisions:

Grades Pre K-2nd
- Grades 3-5
- Grades 6-8
- Grades 9-12
- Adult 19 – 59
- Senior (60+)
- Professional
Prizes and Awards: Cash awards and ribbons will be given in each division. A Best of Show will be chosen. Additionally, send your family and friends in to vote for the People’s Choice award from September 6th-20th! All awards (excluding People’s Choice) will be given at the reception on Thursday, September 11th.

Saturday: 10am-2pm
Artwork must be picked up September 23rd-27th.
