Join us on Saturday, January 13th 10am-1pm for a free Open Studio event! With the Snowflake Challenge activity, our staff will show you how to transform paper towel rolls and hangers into giant snowflake works of art! Once you know the method, we challenge you to make the most creative snowflake you can! Will yours be the the largest, the most colorful, or perhaps full of googly eyes?

We will have all the supplies you need to build the base of your snowflake and any details you can imagine. As a final touch, we will have a spray paint station available for you to spray them white and add snow.

All ages can take part in this activity. We recommend families and groups of friends collaborate on snowflakes together. Children ages 10 and below will need their parents to help them create their snowflake. Participants should expect to finish their project in around 30 minutes to an hour.

DONATION REQUEST:

We are looking for the following items to help let everyone make a snowflake. Every donation is appreciated:

  • Cardboard tubes (Toilet paper/paper towel rolls)
  • Plastic and wire hangers
