Broken Arrow, OK – Arts@302 announces the opening of its latest exhibition, Ruin and Regrowth: Reckoning with Nature, with the opening reception on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 302 South Main Street, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.

About the Exhibit

This powerful show explores humanity’s profound impact on the environment—both in the destruction we’ve caused and its potential for regeneration. Featuring the works of 20 incredible local artists, this exhibit invites you to reflect on the delicate balance between “ruin and regrowth” in our natural world.

This bold showcase will feature an electrifying array of artworks, from striking paintings and dynamic sculptures to immersive multimedia installations and video projections.

Opening Artist Reception

Along with exploring the artworks and meeting the artists behind them, our reception event will include free face painting by Rainbow Lunsford, caricatures by Zach Raw, live DJ music by Majda Phillips, an Oklahoma Aquarium table, and a photo setup by Funktified.

There will also be catering by Julian DeLesDernier and a signature cocktail, “Effervescent Elixir”, that includes color-changing butterfly pea flower. All proceeds from drinks will go to support Arts@302.

Tickets will be sold for two raffle baskets that include prizes donated by the Oklahoma Aquarium, Funktified, and a handful of the exhibit’s featured artists. Raffle tickets will be sold for $10 with all proceeds going to support the Oklahoma Recycling Association (OKRA).

After the reception, Ruin and Regrowth will be on view through March 31st, with all featured pieces available for purchase. Admission to the Arts@302 gallery is always free.
