Main Course Information

Please use the same name as you did in your proposal.

Please write in 3+ sentences a detailed description of your course. This should include what will take place during the course, who it is for, and why someone would want to take it.(Required)

This content is very important. Without it, students don't have much a reason or "hook" to take your class. This information will appear on the website and other promotional materials. We only need the base content, the program director will rewrite and rework your information to make a final compelling course description.

Please provide a brief but specific overview of the lessons/objectives covered in each week of your course. (Six sessions)(Required)

This information will give the 302 staff a deeper sense of the experience your course will offer. Some or all of this information may appear on the website and other promotional materials.

Please provide at least 3 topics that your students will learn in your course. This may appear in a WHAT YOU'LL LEARN section at the bottom of your course listing.(Required)

Examples from previous classes include: "How to identify geometric shapes and cut them out" / "How to recognize patterns and recreate them" / "How to use different materials to create an interesting and aesthetic collage"

(OPTIONAL) Please upload your course syllabus. Any or all of the above questions can and should be used to structure it. Syllabi may be edited to fit the 302 style and format, but the primary content will remain the same. The completed version of the course syllabus will be linked on the course listing for students to view. Yes - parents will also participate in the class activities and will require their own set of supplies.

No - parents will only act as supervision and will not require supplies.

What is the maximum number of students you would like in your proposal?(Required)

Most courses have a cap of 12, but some mediums benefit from a lower number. All classes require a minimum of 5.

What level of experience is this course for?(Required)

Level A - All skill levels are welcome

Level 0 - This class is for the true beginner with no prior experience in the medium

Level I - This class is for students with some informal familiarity with the medium.

Level II - This class is for students who have taken at least one class in the medium and understand the fundamentals.

Level III - This class is for students with significant experience in the medium - either 2-3 or more prior classes or a year or more of experience.

Please be as specific as is necessary. Kids will have supplies provided for them. Adults will be expected to purchase supplies.
